Was ist so besonders an südamerikanischem Wein?

Weine aus Südamerika erwecken seit Jahrzehnten ein enormes Interesse bei Weinkonsumenten und -kennern auf der ganzen Welt. Die Geographie dieser Länder ist sehr vielfältig und wird nicht nur von der spektakulären Andenkette beeinflusst, an deren Fuß die meisten Weinberge in Argentinien und Chile liegen, sondern auch von den Meeresbrisen und dem Einfluss des Atlantiks, der die uruguayischen Weinberge so sehr prägt. 

Rotwein aus Argentinien:

Unter den Rebsorten, die unter den in Argentinien hergestellten Weinen am meisten hervorstechen, finden wir ohne Zweifel Malbec an der Spitze des Podiums, gefolgt von Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda, Tannat, Merlot, Syrah und Pinot Noir. 

Weißwein aus Argentinien: 

Unter den argentinischen Weißweinen finden wir eine in der Welt einzigartige Traube: Torrontés, gefolgt von Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc und Semillón, unter anderem. 

Rotwein aus Uruguay:

Bei den uruguayischen Weinen sticht vor allem die Tannat-Traube hervor, denn dieses Land ist der Hauptproduzent von Weinen auf Basis dieser Traube. Außerdem Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Marselán, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah und Pinot Noir. 

Weißwein aus Uruguay:

Unter den Weißweinen dieses Landes können wir hauptsächlich Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay und Moscatel unterscheiden.

Rotwein aus Chile:

Bei den chilenischen Weinen sticht der Cabernet Sauvignon hervor, der in diesem transandinen Land in besonderer Weise gegeben ist, gefolgt von Carmenere, Cinsault, Merlot, Pinot Noir und Syrah. 

Weißwein aus Chile:

Unter den Weißweinen Chiles finden wir u.a. hervorragenden Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay und Riesling.

In all diesen Ländern gibt es Vorschriften, die vor allem in jedem einzelnen Land im Laufe der Jahre die Schaffung von geografischen Angaben und Ursprungsbezeichnungen erlaubt haben. Immer unter Beachtung der lokalen Vorschriften bezüglich der Kombination von Reben und Terroirs, sticht der Erfindungsreichtum der Winzer bei der Herstellung von Blends und Cuvees, sowohl rot als auch weiß, sowie von Schaum- und Roséweinen hervor.
