Alchemy wine.
It is a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat blend which contains much more than three vines: it is composed of almost one hundred components from different areas of Mendoza, vines, soil types, and degrees of ripeness. It is a wine of unique personality and character achieved by means of a thorough selection of the varieties that compose it. This is the blend with the house imprint, which evidences almost five centuries of winemaking experience at the international level.

Grape varieties:
62% Malbec, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Tannat

Tasting notes:
Bright, deep-red wine with purple shades.
On the nose, we can perceive spicy aromas such as nutmeg and pepper, alongside minty touches and red berries, like plums.
On the palate, this is a very broad wine where we can find once more the spicy notes created by the Cabernet Sauvignon and the barrel ageing process. Its tannins are pleasant on the palate and its acidity levels are quite balanced. This wine has a long finish, characterized by the complexity aorded by the three grape varieties used and all the particulars of its ageing process.
Each variety is worked on individually in the vineyard and during the winemaking process. Different selections are made in terms of cooperages, sizes and types of oak, uses of the oak, vineyards, harvest seasons and areas. This wine grows over time and in the glass.

What is so special about South American wine?

Wines from South America have been arousing enormous interest among wine consumers and connoisseurs around the world for decades. This is mainly due to the typicality of the soils and the production techniques, which allow the different varieties of white and red wine to be produced in a special and unique way. We can appreciate this in wines from Argentinawines from Chile and wines from Uruguay.
The geography of these countries is very diverse, and is influenced not only by the spectacular Andes mountain range, at whose foot the largest number of vineyards in Argentina and Chile are located, but also by the sea breezes and the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, which characterizes Uruguayan vineyards so much.

Red wine from Argentina:

Among the varieties that stand out most among the wines made in Argentina, we can find, without a doubt, Malbec at the top of the podium, followed by Cabernet SauvignonBonardaTannatMerlotSyrah and Pinot Noir

Red wine from Uruguay:

As regards Uruguayan wines, the Tannat grape stands out mainly, since this country is the main producer of wines based on this grape. Also Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Marselán, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Pinot Noir.

Red wine from Chile:

Regarding Chilean wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon stands out, which in this trans-Andean country is given in a very special way, followed by Carmenere, Cinsault, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Designation of origin and geographical indication:

In all these countries there are regulations that, particularly in each one, have allowed over the years the creation of geographical indications and denominations of origin. Always respecting local regulations regarding the combination of vines and terroirs, the inventiveness of winegrowers in the production of Blends and Cuvees, both red and white, and of sparkling and rosé wines, stands out.
